Tim Fletcher Leaves KTBS, Will Broadcast Live from Shreveport’s 1130 The Tiger Studio

Local sports staple and Sports Director for KTBS, Tim Fletcher, has found a new home for his daily morning TV and radio broadcast.  Starting Monday March 18, The Tim Fletcher Show will broadcast live from our very own KWKH studios in Shreveport, La. rather than the KTBS TV studios.

The Tim Fletcher Show has been on the air at 1130 The Tiger for nearly a year. Fletcher's unique blend of sports and humor has made him a household name in the Ark-La-Tex.

Fletcher confirmed his departure from KTBS on Facebook. Today (Friday 3/15) is his last day reporting for KTBS.  He has served as Sports Director with KTBS for more than 13 years.

"I am leaving KTBS after 13 and a quarter years for one reason and one reason only ---to spend more time with my wonderful family. For too many years, work came before family."

1130 The Tiger is thrilled to welcome Fletcher to the legendary KWKH studios and we look forward to being the home of his one-of-a-kind show.

1130 The Tiger has exciting plans in place for Fletch.  Very soon, you'll hear more Fletch in the morning and his television show will broadcast live from the 1130 the Tiger studios in West Shreveport.
