More than a month after the LSU-Shreveport Pilots season ended early in the NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round, there's still excitement around the campus of LSU-Shreveport as three Pilots were named to the all-state baseball team.

The Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) announced their picks for the All-Louisiana Baseball Team.

Three of their picks came from right in our backyard at Pilot Field.

Pilots first baseman Kyle Pearson and Pilots outfielder K.J. Semien were named to the Second Team and Reed Lavallee was named as an Honorable Mention catcher.

Pearson was a key player for the Pilots this season. He had a batting average of .337 with 7 home runs and 55 RBI's.

Semien led the Pilots in batting this season by batting .394 with 1 home run and 25 RBI's.

Lavallee batted .326 with 1 home run and 16 RBI's.
