The Shreveport Mudbugs Start New Policies For This Season
Hockey season is about to start in Shreveport! The defending NAHL Robertson Cup Champion Shreveport Mudbugs will be taking the ice for their first home game on Thursday, September 13th.
The Mudbugs play their home games at George's Pond at Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport, and the team has made some incredible upgrades to the facility between the end of last season, and this year. But updates to the building aren't the only updates the team is making. There will be changes to the entrance policies for the Mudbugs this year too.
Earlier this week, the team released some policy and procedure changes for the 2018-19 season. Here are the updates, according to the Mudbugs release:
The Mudbugs organization has made some changes that you need to be aware of before our season officially kicks off on September 13th:
1) Beginning with the September 13th game, we will start checking bags as you enter into George's Pond. We are implementing this for your safety and peace of mind. We intend on making this a very quick procedure so you can get into the doors in a timely manner.
2) Video cameras or any type of professional cameras and equipment will not be allowed into the building. We have an official photographer for the Mudbugs, who will capture amazing photos, which will be made available to the fans thru various mediums. We apologize for any inconvenience.
3) Our suite holders and Coors Club ticket holders purchase their experience here at George's Pond, therefore only those with suite and Coors Club tickets will be allowed downstairs during the hockey games.
