The One And Only: Mets R.A. Dickey Throws 2nd Straight One Hitter

After shutting down the injury plagued Tampa Bay Rays in Tampa last week, R.A. Dickey (11-1, 2.00 ERA) continues to prove why he should be considered for this year's Cy Young award!

Last Wednesday in Tampa, the New York Mets' R.A. Dickey demolished the Rays. Dickey sent down 8 Rays' hitters (a career high).

For an encore performance Monday night in New York against the Baltimore Orioles, Dickey did it again! The most impressive stat, he struck out 13 batters!

Dickey, who's a 37 year-old journeyman in the Major Leagues before joining the Mets in 2010, has never pitched this amazingly in his career!
