Texas Rangers Even the Series, 4-0 Last Night!
Texas Rangers fans kept the faith as they watched the Rangers tie the World Series at 2 games a piece after an exciting win last night over the St. Louis Cardinals, 4-0 at Rangers Stadium.
Game 5 is being played tonight at Arlington, before the series moves back to St. Louis for Game 6 on Wednesday. The Rangers kept their cool with Derek Holland's incredible pitching, permitting only two hits and shutting out the Cards.
The Rangers led early with 1 run, but it was in the 6th inning that catcher Mike Napoli finished off the Cardinals with a three-run homer, clinching the game.
Tonight the Rangers play again in Arlington, hoping to continue the momentum from last night's victory.
Saturday night, game 3 seemed like two completely different Rangers and Cards teams as the amazing superman-like Albert Pujols hit three homers and drove in six runs. Rangers lost that game 16-7.
Pujols tied Babe Ruth and Reggie Jackson's records for most home runs hit in a single World Series game, prompting Mark McGwire to call Pujols the new Mr. October.
My faith is restored in the Rangers, after last night's win. And, I hear some of the Rangers are Christians. Over the weekend I saw them interviewed on the religious show, the 700 Club. They talked bout their Christian faith and said they trust in Jesus.
