It's been said out loud a lot so far this season; Houston Texans rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson looks a lot former Houston quarterback legend Warren Moon out on the field.

Watson has been killing it out there, with his arm and his legs, much like Warren Moon would do back in the day. But this morning, Watson stepped it up a notch when he showed up for today's game wearing the baby-blue Houston throwback jersey with Moon's name on it.

That's right, Watson hears what everyone is saying, and he's totally cool with it.

Sometimes athletes HATE being compared to legends, but apparently Watson loves this idea...and we do to.

Today sets up for an very interesting game too. With Houston hosting the Cleveland Browns, it will give Watson a chance to face the team who passed him over with the #1 pick in the NFL Draft. Actually, the Browns passed on Watson twice before he was picked by the Texans. He might want to rub it in a little.

But I will say this, I'm a firm believer in nurture over nature with rookie quarterbacks. If Watson ended up in Cleveland instead of Houston, he might be facing the same issues that Browns rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer. Who ended up getting benched last week. Kizer might be playing better if he was in Houston, with their offensive-based coaching staff, and excellent offensive weapons.

Catch Watson, and the rest of the Houston Texans, on their radio home in Shreveport and Bossier City, 1130 The Tiger. Which is 1130AM, KWKH.
