Achievements:  Led Woodlawn to 1965 AAA High School Championship Game.  Set a national high school record in the javelin with a throw of 245 feet while at Woodlawn.  Attended Louisiana Tech and led the nation in total yards his junior season.  Became widely considered the best player in college football in 1969.  Number one overall pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1970 NFL draft.  Four time Superbowl Champion, one of only two quarterbacks to ever win four Superbowls.  Two time Superbowl MVP.  1978 NFL MVP.  NFL 1970's All Decade Team.  1989 Inductee into Pro Football Hall of Fame.  1996 College Football Hall of Fame.  Jersey #12 retired by Pittsburgh Steelers.  Has appeared in numerous movies and television commercials as well as recording albums as a singer.  Began broadcasting career in 1984 following retirement from NFL and is still a regular studio host of the Fox NFL Sundays.
