In case you didn't know, the Twin City Knockers are Shreveport-Bossier's own female Roller Derby team... and they're movin' on up in the world. The Knockers will move from their home arena at the skate palace in South Bossier to the Bossier Civic Center.
Cheer on Shreveport's Twin City Knockers this Saturday as they take on the Corpus Christi Maidens! Doors are at 6pm and the bout starts at 7pm at Hot Wheels South in Bossier City.
Today on the show, Tim was joined by Bre Garcia, who is known around town as "Breasaurus" from the local roller derby team, the Twin City Knockers.
Saturday was an eventful night at the Hot Wheels Skating Palace in Bossier. The area's last local sports franchise, The Twin City Knockers, beat up on the Capital Defenders from Baton Rouge 202-158.
If you have never witnessed a roller derby match, this would be a great season to start.
