Fans of both the Byrd Yellow Jackets and Loyola Flyers who hoped to see a well played game between the teams were disappointed Wednesday afternoon.

The last time coaching legend Alan Carter was on the sidelines as a coach was as a defensive coordinator for the Byrd Yellow Jackets in 1997 under head coach Mike Suggs. After serving as Athletic Director for Caddo Parish Schools for the last nine years, Carter will once again put on the coaches' headphones.
