We’ve long wondered what, if any connection FOX’s Bryan Singer-directed X-Men drama might have to the movie franchise, though the latest dips a bit outside its reality. True Blood alum Stephen Moyer (as well as Rogue one Anna Paquin’s husband) will topline the mutant drama, albeit in a brand-new role.

Several media outlets are reporting that longtime broadcaster Alan Colmes has died.

So it was with the Joker-esque Jerome, and now Season 3 may be introducing a Harley Quinn character before the year is out.

Alice in Wonderland references throughout Gotham Season 2 tipped off that the Mad Hatter might be on his way, and it seems our star took a slight detour through The Walking Dead. For all the anticipation going into FOX’s X-Files revival, few would argue that the awkward balance of mythology and stand-alone episodes over six hours made it difficult to gain much traction. Time will tell if Chris Carter, Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny manage to coordinate for an eleventh season revival, though Duchovny at least believes the next round would need more than six episodes to do right.
