Sir Sean Connery Dead at the Age of 90

The BBC is reporting that actor Sean Connery has died at the age of 90. The actor best known for his portrayal of James Bond died peacefully in his sleep according to a release from his family.

Connery, who was visiting in the Bahamas at the time of his passing had reportedly been "unwell for some time" according to a story posted by the BBC.

Connery, an Oscar winner for his role in the Untouchables in 1988 earned worldwide fame as Agent 007 in the James Bond movie franchise. Although, Connery's pedigree as an actor extended far beyond the realm of secret agents.
