Shreveport has a pretty strong collection of Super Bowl championships they can claim. There have been a dozen players born in Shreveport who have won the NFL's greatest prize.

That number just grew to 12, as Los Angeles Rams defensive back Robert Rochell just secured his ring in Super Bowl LVI.

Rochell did not get to play in the Super Bowl, because he's on injured reserve, but the rookie started 5 games for the Rams before getting hurt this season. He grabbed one interception, one fumble recovery, and had 14 tackles for the team. With his contributions this season, he earned a ring with the Rams 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

So now among those 12 players, there are 15 total Super Bowl rings. That's because one player is responsible for a total of 4 rings. That player is Terry Bradshaw, who won all four of those championships with the Pittsburgh Steelers. But he wasn't just a champion, he was a two-time Super Bowl MVP for the Steelers as well.

But he wasn't the only Steelers quarterback from Shreveport who got a Super Bowl ring.

Shrevport-born Tommy Maddox won a ring in Super Bowl XL while helping Ben Roethlisberger break down defensive schemes from the sidelines. He didn't do much work on the field during that Super Bowl to secure the ring, but the work we don't see on Sundays qualifies you for a ring too.

There was yet again another quarterback with Shreveport on his birth certificate that got a Super Bowl ring, and his came in a similar way to Maddox's.

Stan Humphries was a Super Bowl starting quarterback, but not in the game he won his ring. See, Humphries was a backup quarterback with Washington when they won Super Bowl XXVI. But he didn't see game time then. A few years later, in Super Bowl XXIX, Humphries was the starting quarterback for the San Diego Chargers. His team fell to the San Francisco 49ers that year, but taking his team to that year's Super Bowl secured Humphries a place in the franchise's hall of fame.

There are plenty of other Shreveport guys who have gotten rings. Here's a deeper look...
