Shreveport Rolling Shootout Leaves One Dead and Three Injured
Shreveport Police are investigating a shooting call that has left 3 people injured and another dead.
This call came into dispatch at 2:44 p.m., Sunday (7/4/22) from the corner of Jewella Avenue and Meriwether Road. When first responders arrived on the scene, they learned that a male victim was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body. He had to be transported to Ochsner Health Hospital to be treated for his injuries. His injuries are considered as serious and life-threatening injuries. The victim later died in the hospital.
Minutes later is when two males arrived at Ochsner Health Hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. After that officers located a red a Chevy Camero parked in a field, which is located at the corner of Amelia Avenue and Jewella Avenue. A short time later is when another person arrived at Willis Knighton South Hospital shot.
This is an ongoing investigation and no other details are available at this time. This article will update when more information becomes available.
