Shreveport Police Have Caught The Booze Bandit: Liquor Thief Behind Bars
Shreveport Police released a video yesterday showing a woman shove 18 bottles of liquor into her pants, bra, and purse before leaving Thrifty Liquor on Bert Kouns. She has now been arrested and sits behind bars.
The video certainly went viral, at least on a local level, and everyone was talking about this woman and her insane ability to somehow pack nearly 20 bottles on her person. Due to the popularity of the video, it's no wonder she was caught within a day of the footage being released.
The Booze Bandit has been identified as Sekonie Jones, 37, of Shreveport.
This morning, Jones turned herself in at the Shreveport City Jail. She's being charged with one count of Misdemeanor Theft and her bond was set at $1,000.
This is nothing new for Jones, who, according to KTBS, has been arrested for shoplifting nine times over the past nine years.
The video will probably go down in Shreveport history as one of the craziest thefts caught on camera.
