Sam Burns Fires 66 at U.S. Amateur, Moves on to Match Play Round
After shooting an even par 72 on Monday at the U.S. Amateur in Georgia, Calvary senior Sam Burns fired a six under 66 on Tuesday to move into a tie for second place.
66 was the low round of the day at the Atlanta Athletic Club. Burns will now be one of 64 players, from a field of 312, moving on to the match play portion of the event, which starts Wednesday.
