Embattled Louisiana State University Athletic Director Joe Alleva is reportedly out in Baton Rouge.

Multiple sources are reporting that Alleva will be stepping down from his AD duties, possibly as early as today. Alleva has held the position for 11 years.

Over the past few years, Alleva has caught the ire of Tigers fans with his handling of the final portion of Les Miles' career as the Head Coach of the LSU Football team, and the failed attempt to secure Jimbo Fisher (now at Texas A&M) as his new Head Coach. As well as his recent handling of the issues surrounding Men's Basketball Coach Will Wade.

Earlier this week, Wade was reinstated as the Men's Coach after Alleva had previously placed him on leave, due to his possible role in a college basketball bribery scandal.

Now the question shifts to who replaces Alleva. LSU Football Legend Jacob Hester reported on his show (heard in Shreveport and Bossier City on 1130AM KWKH, 1130 The Tiger) that a "national name" is in play to replace Alleva. One of the names currently being bounced around is Texas A&M Athletic Director Scott Woodward.
