Today marks the 35th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s death and fans from around the world are in Memphis, Tenn. to visit Graceland.
His songs first hit radio airwaves in 1956 while he was a regular performer on KWKH's Louisiana Hayride.

 

At Graceland in Memphis, candlelight vigil is held every year to marks his death, it is the high point of Elvis Week, which is giant a celebration of Elvis' life and career.

Fans got a pleasant surprise welcome from the King's former wife and daughter, Priscilla and Lisa Marie Presley.
