Hey tournament fishermen, it's back!  The Times All-City Bass Championship is returning to Cross Lake on April 22 and some area anglers consider this the premiere event for the entire year!

Tournament Director, Mike Echols, has announced that registration for this exclusive event will begin on Saturday, January 14 at 8:30 am at Bayou Outdoor Supercenter on East Texas in Bossier City.

Having won this event a number of years ago, I can personally attest to the fact that no one puts on a finer tournament than Mike Echols and having this event back in our area is huge for our tournament anglers.

According to an article in The Times by Jimmy Watson we learn:

The one-day tournament will have a $200 per 2-person team entry fee and will pay at least $5,000 to the first place team. The number of additional places paid will be determined at a later date.

The entry forms are currently being finalized according to Times sponsorships and events manager Emily Knecht. Watch for further announcements in The Times and at shreveporttimes.com for details on the payout, places to register and prizes to be awarded.
