The Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Lions were forced to drop today's baseball game against the LSU-Shreveport Pilots due to "unforeseen circumstances."

WAXAHACHIE, Tex. - Due to unforeseen circumstances with the Southwestern Assemblies of God University Baseball program, SAGU has chosen to forfeit one of the three games originally scheduled against the LSU Shreveport Pilots this weekend. The series will now consist of just two games both scheduled now for a double header on Saturday beginning at noon at SAGU. The double header will be two seven inning games.

LSUS Athletic Director Chad McDowell was contacted by the SAGU Athletic Director of the new weekend schedule two hours prior to the Pilots scheduled departure for Waxahachie today.
