Phil Robertson

Connection:  Born in Vivian, LA.  Attended North Caddo High School.

Sport/Field:  Outdoorsman, Football

Achievements:  The Patriarch of the Robertson Family on A&E TV's "Duck Dynasty" and the Founder of Duck Commander.  Phil is our lone Outdoors representative on the list.  Phil was also a standout athlete at North Caddo and Louisiana Tech.  All State in Football, baseball, and track at North Caddo High School.  Played quarterback at Louisiana Tech, famously beating out Terry Bradshaw as the starting quarterback in 1967.  He turned down an opportunity to play for the Washington Redskins because football season interfered with hunting season.  Phil incorporated "Duck Commander" in 1973 and it is now a multi-million dollar business specializing in duck calls.
