A couple of local players from our area will be seen on a national stage for the first time to showcase their talents in the Under Armour All-American Game on Thursday.

Parkway Panthers quarterback Brandon Harris and Airline Vikings defensive tackle O.J. Smith are in Thursday's game in Tampa, Florida in a game that will be seen national wide on ESPN.

This game is not only showcasing the talents of high school athletes from around the country, this could also be a huge day for the LSU football program.

LSU could see as many as five commitments from players in the game. Each of the five are in the list of Top 50 recruits in each of their respective positions.

While Harris has committed to LSU and Smith has already committed to Alabama, the five players most likely to commit to LSU this afternoon are:

  • Cornerback Leonard Fournette (St. Augustine High School/New Orleans)
  • Cornerback Tony Brown (Ozen High School/Beaumont, TX)
  • Wide Receiver Speedy Noil (Karr High School/New Orleans)
  • Defensive End Gerald Willis III (Karr High School/New Orleans)
  • Safety Jamal Adams (Hebron High School/Carollton, TX)
