Northwestern State/Advocare V100 Independence Bowl Kickoff Luncheon Canceled

The NSU football team will travel to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex on Wednesday to avoid the potential travel risks of Hurricane Isaac, as they head to Lubbock, Texas, for a Saturday match up with the Red Raiders.

 

The luncheon was originally scheduled for Aug. 23, but was postponed so as not to overlap with the kickoff luncheon hosted by the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl, which was rescheduled for that date due to a minor health concern with guest speaker Lou Holtz.
