NFL Fans Honor Tre White By Donating Money to Shreveport Charity

Around these parts, we love us some Tre'Davious White.  The former Green Oaks High School and Louisiana State University standout is playing in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills as an incredible cornerback.  Or was, that is, until the Bill's Thanksgiving win over the New Orleans Saints when he tore his anterior cruciate ligament in what would turn out to be a season-ending injury.  Even though he is out for the season, and more than 1,200 miles away - Tre is still making a difference for Northwest Louisiana.

Buffalo Bills Fans Love Tre'Davious White So Much, They're Donating to His Hometown

According to a report from the Ark-La-Tex Homepage, Buffalo fans are so enamored by Tre'Davious that they are donating en masse to the Northwest Louisiana Food Bank.   How do we know that these seemingly random monetary donations are in honor of the illustrious Mr. White?  They're all for $27 dollars - which just happens to be the number on Tre's jersey.

The Push to Help The NWLA Food Bank Was Organized By the Bills Mafia Babes

The effort has picked up steam, but at this point we don't know exactly how many of these donations have come in so far.

This Isn't the First Time Shreveport's Tre'Davious White Has Helped the Community

This latest gift of cash donations comes just over 2 weeks after Tre'Davious White's latest contribution to our community.  In mid-November, the NFL star donated 1,000 turkeys to Shreveport families in need just in time for Thanksgiving.
