The New Orleans Saints sent notice to season ticket holders over the weekend that there will be an increase in ticket price for the 2014 season.

The teams says that no ticket will increase by more than ten dollars, and that 1/3 of all tickets will still be under $55.

The last ticket price hike came after the Saints won Superbowl 44.

The Saints went 8-0 at home in the dome last season for only the second time in franchise history.

Are the Saints trying to make some more money so that they can pay Jimmy Graham?  Simply, NO!  Season ticket prices have no bearing on an NFL teams salary cap number.  The Saints are raising ticket prices because Saints fans will pay it.  The Saints have been voted one of, or the best value on ticket price and home game experience for the past seven seasons.  This extra money will go straight to the bottom line for the Benson family.
