NASA Engineer and Harry Potter Fan Creating Real Leaky Couldron
If and when this pub becomes a reality, I want this to be in Shreveport or Bossier so that I can visit it every single day. I would, trust me.
According to Huffington Post, the fantastical pub is still in the development stages.
"The $500,000 fundraiser, however, goes live on Kickstarter beginning June 26, the day Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was published in 1997," says of Huffington Post.
The creators of the Leaky Couldron inspired pub includes a former NASA engineer, Travis Davis, and a fan of the franchise, Matthew Cortland, are determined to make this dream a reality.
This is not just a pub with an amazing theme. No, they are bringing the magic to life with science. There will be floating candles, drinks that mysteriously fill up from the bottom of the glasses, and tights and taps that turn on and off with magic wands. Also, the pictures on the walls move.
They plan on putting the pub in a mystery location in London. Horrible decision, this should obviously be in Bossier City on Airline Drive. Why? Because I want to be in walking distance to it, of course.
