Geek’d Con Welcomes A Harry Potter Actor To Shreveport In 2021
Geek'd Con, Shreveport's comic con, unfortunately had to miss the 2020 show due to the COVID pandemic restrictions around the state. But the show is back on for 2021! The show's return will be August 13th-15th at the Shreveport Convention Center.
Before the pandemic, Geek'd Con had become one of the biggest pop culture events in the region. With guests like Michael Rooker, LeVar Burton, Elvira, Peter Mayhew, Chris Sarandon, and more.
We are so excited to dive into the Wizarding World of guests with the latest Geek'd Con guest announcement, Jim Tavare!
Jim may be best known world-wide as Tom The Innkeeper, the owner of The Leaky Cauldron in Harry Potter.
But Jim's resume isn't limited to just Harry Potter, he's an accomplished stand up comedian, best known in the UK for his work on The Sketch Show. In the US, his comedy was on full display when he became a finalist on Last Comic Standing.
Jim has also appeared in shows like Californication, Chuck, and Castlevania: Hymn of Blood.
