The last time we saw our boys in town, they played an impressive four games in five days. The results weren't exactly what the Mudbugs were hoping for, by Mudbugs standards, splitting the home stretch winning two out of four. The 'Bugs returned to action this past weekend, taking on their biggest rivals in the South Division. They travelled to Lonestar to take on the Brahmas, who are coached by Mudbug legend Dan Wildfong. The rivalry was intensified in this matchup, as first place in the South was up for grabs.

The Mudbugs delivered in a major way, sweeping the Brahmas in their house.

Now, the Brahmas hit the road to play in George's Pond for the first time this season. Currently, the Mudbugs sit atop the South division with a record of 17 wins, 3 losses, 2 losses in overtime, and 1 loss in a shoot-out. The Brahmas sit in a close second with 18 wins, 8 losses, and 1 overtime loss.

Now that the action is handled, let's focus on the theme nights! Friday night is the perfect date night for fathers and their little girls. It's Daddy-Daughter-Date-Night where they are offering a package that includes: a pre-game skate, 2 game tickets, and a carnation for your darling daughter for $22!

Saturday is Princesses at the Pond where our little ones are encouraged to dress (warmly) in their favourite princess dresses,

Both games will drop the puck at 7:11 PM, for more information click HERE.
