It was a tough night in Fort Worth, Texas last night, as the LSU Shreveport Pilots were tackled by the herd of Texas Wesleyan Rams, 97-73.

It was a rare loss for a hot shooting Pilots team, who were only handed their third loss in conference play this season.

It was a night where nothing seemed to go right for head coach Kyle Blankenship and his crew.

The Pilots only shot 36% on the night. And, the Pilots' leading scorer Rodney Milum on scored 8 points, and was 1-8 from 3-point range.

Aside from Milum having an off night from downtown, the rest of the Pilots' scorers were 5-22 from 3-point land.

Brendan Davis was the bright spot for LSU-S after finishing the night with his third double-double of the season, with 25 points and 10 rebounds.

The Pilots were out rebounded 47-22 last night.

There was good news last night at the Pilots defense forced a total of 20 turnovers.

The Pilots will return to Shreveport to resume classes, then head out on the road to face off against Langston University in Langston, Oklahoma on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m.
