Senior guard Aaron Jones had his best game of the season to date, netting 19 points on the day. Three of those points came as Jones made the first points of the game only seconds after tip-off. For the day Jones was 5-for-7 from three-point range.

The rest of the Pilots were shooting pretty well, as they shot for 51% in the first half alone. At halftime LSU-S had a 49-31 lead over Paul Quinn.

Aside from shooting well from the field, the Pilots also shot well from the charity stripe as they shot 84% percent from the line.

On the defensive side, the Pilots forced a season high 24 turnovers.

The Pilots' bench players proved to be very valuable in this contest. Rodney Milum, the usual starter who was on the bench for the game, had 13 points. The crowd favorite, Jake Greene had 11 points, which included two successful attempts from downtown. Tevin Hall also helped with his 10 points on the day.

With the victory, the LSU-Shreveport Pilots win their fourth consecutive game and advance to 15-4. The Paul Quinn Fighting Tigers lose their seventh straight, and fall to 7-10.

The Pilots currently sit 1.5 games behind Southwestern Assemblies of God University in the Red River Athletic Conference with a 10-3 record in the conference.

The Pilots take their high-powered show on the road to East Texas as they take on Wiley College. The two will face off on Saturday, February 2nd at 4 p.m.
