The LSU Football program is known for winning on the field. With 4 National Championships, 16 Conference Championships, and 10 Division Titles, the program has done a lot of winning on the field.

But over the last few decades, the Tigers' program has become known more for the quality of professional player they produce, than their results on the field. Not a year passes with the NFL Draft where you don't hear the name of an LSU player selected.

How Far Back Does LSU Draft Dominance Go?

Do Many LSU Players Get Drafted In Modern Drafts?

In more recent years, the LSU Tigers have seen an increasing number of players regularly selected in high rounds of the draft. Dating back to the 2020 NFL Draft, LSU has had at least one first round pick in every draft except 2023. Even in that draft, they still had 6 total players selected, with their highest being a 2nd round pick (BJ Ojulari, pick 41 in the 2nd round).

What LSU Players Could Be First Round NFL Draft Picks in 2025?

LSU offensive lineman Will Campbell will be a first round pick, unless something extraordinary happens over the next week.
