The LSU Tigers Men's basketball season ended last night after, one of the most successful seasons in years, after the Tigers fell to the Michigan State Spartans 80-63 in the East Regional NCAA Sweet 16.

Now that the fun is over, there's a darkening cloud forming over the program.

Now LSU awaits the outcome of the FBI wiretap scandal that involves suspended LSU Head Coach Will Wade. Reports showing transcripts of wiretapped phone calls involving Wade have led to his suspension, and will lead to a court appearance for Wade in the coming weeks.

The program will likely need to find a new coach before next season starts. There have been a lot of conversations from fans, reporters, and fans of other teams over who should lead the program. One of the popular ideas would involve a history-making move from LSU, which would be to hire a female coach.

Baylor Women's Basketball Coach Kim Mulkey has been a popular name in Baton Rouge every time the Men's Basketball job becomes available. She's from Louisiana, played in Louisiana, her son was a star athlete at LSU...and she apparently wants to make history with the school by becoming the first ever female coach in Men's college basketball history.
