Johnny O'Bryant III had a career game, and it was almost enough to knock off the defending National Champion Wildcats of Kentucky.  The Tigers lost Saturday in Rupp Arena 75-70 to Kentucky.

JO'B3  matched a career high with 21 points and LSU nearly erased an 11 point halftime deficit, pulling to within 1 point with 3.9 seconds left.  The score was 71-70 and the Tigers put Kentucky on the line... the Wildcats made all four of their free throw attempts at the end of the game to get the five point win.

Anthony Hickey had 15 points, making four from beyond the arc.  He added three steals.  Charles Carmouche returned to the starting line-up and had seven points, seven assists, four boards and three steals.

LADY TIGERS LOSE TO #4 KENTUCKY 73-60

The margin of victory was 13 points, but the Lady Tigers made it a game until Kentucky pulled away with less than two minutes to play.  LSU (12-8, 3-4) made it a two possession game with 1:57 to play, but the fourth ranked Lady Wildcats made all the plays down the stretch, converting free throws, and handed the Lady Tigers their fifth straight road loss.

LSU's Theresa Plaisance led all scorers with a game high 19 points.  It's her 19th consecutive game scoring in double figures.  Adrienne Webb chipped in 18 points as well.
