LSU Fans Will Have More To Roar About At Basketball Games

In an effort to make LSU basketball games as loud as football games in Death Valley on Saturdays, officials at the Pete Maravich center in Baton Rouge after introduced the "Roar Corps."

The way the Tigers have began the season, the players on the court will give you plenty to roar about.

The "Roar Corps" which was introduced before Saturday's SEC home opener against the (11) Florida Gators give students and some casual Tigers fans to get as rowdy as possible.

The section of the "Roar Corps" which is titled the "Roar Zone" is in sections 119, 235, and 338 of the Pete Maravich Center.

Fans or students who choose to sit and watch the game in the "Roar Zone" will receive a free "Roar Zone" t-shirt.

The next time you can hear the Tigers roar on the court will be on Wednesday, January 16th against the South Carolina Gamecocks. You can hear the game with coverage starting at 6:30 p.m. on Your Home For LSU Sports, 1130 The Tiger!
