LSU #17 in College Football Playoff Ranking After Bama Loss

The new College Football Playoff rankings came out Tuesday night. LSU dropped from 16th to 17th after the overtime loss to Alabama.

Despite the big road win for the Crimson Tide, they did not move into one of the top four spots, they are fifth.

Mississippi State is still number one followed by Oregon, then Florida State. TCU is fourth.

Auburn and Ole Miss come in at ninth and tenth respectively. Georgia is 15th and Texas A&M moved up to 24th after upsetting Auburn. At 17, LSU is the highest ranked three loss team.
