Months after the final seconds ticked off the clock to close LHSAA football postseason, there have been numerous personnel changes throughout the state to many programs.

This includes changes locally, as Loyola Flyers' head coach Steven Geter is no longer with the program.

After sending the Loyola Flyers to the state quarterfinals in 2008 and guiding the program to a 9-1 record in 2010, including a 29-26 record overall, coach Steven Geter has moved on.

The former state champion golfer will move on to work in administration across town at Evangel High School.

According to a press release from Loyola Geter says:

“I have enjoyed every moment at Loyola and I love the school and the people, but I feel like this is the best move for me and my family at this time, I will always be thankful for Loyola giving me my first opportunity to be a head coach. I know Loyola will continue to thrive and have great success in the future and I will always have a special relationship with the Flyer family.”
