If this keeps up, the October 12th game between LSU and Ole Miss will be incredible. Because Head Football Coaches Brian Kelly (LSU) and Lane Kiffin (Ole Miss) can't stop trolling each other.

It started when Ole Miss Coach Lane Kiffin decided to rip major sponsor Coca Cola during a press conference. He asked if anyone actually drinks it, then called someone in the room "coked up". Watch this weirdo here...

So Brian Kelly decided to open the first press conference he had after this little Lane Kiffin display by drinking a Smart Water, which is a Coca Cola product. In addition to drinking the product, he thanked the company for being a sponsor, and fully endorsed their products. You can see that troll job here:

But then, the games were played. Ole Miss played Furman (yeah, they're looking for big games this year) to open their season, and won 76-0. LSU did not win their opening game, but they took on nationally ranked USC in the game of the week prime-time spotlight in Vegas. Pretty different games.

After the LSU loss, Brian Kelly had a very fired up press conference. He even slammed his fist on the table in frustration. Something that soft sports writers were triggered by, but something that most former football players recognized.

Lane Kiffin saw this as an opportunity to hit back on Kelly in their on-going cold war, but this time he did it on Twitter (X) with this troll tweet:

I mean, I don't hate it. Don't want them to screenshot you grinding your teeth hitting a table during a seething press conference? Don't lose that game.

But a big warning to the Lane Kiffin crowd...they better not drop a game to Wake Forest, Georgia Southern, or Middle Tennessee...because as hard as LSU fans can be on their own team, that's only a fraction of the power they can unleash on you.
