Sometimes, you forget how important National TV games can be for college football teams. When you live in proximity to LSU and Texas, it's something you can take for granted.

But if you're Louisiana Tech, you KNOW how important those games are.

Not for fan-base building, but for recruiting. Getting that logo, those schemes, and the coaches faces on a national platform for recruits in Florida, New Jersey, California, and other high school hotbeds to see is very valuable. So this was some pretty good news for the Bulldogs. According to the Louisiana Radio Network, they'll be getting at least two games on national TV:

"Conference USA announced TV selections for two Louisiana Tech football games. The Bulldogs match-up with Mississippi State on September 9th will air on the CBS Network at 6:30 PM. And Tech’s final regular season match-up of the camping versus UTSA will be shown nationally on either ESPN, ESPN Two or ESPN U and kickoff will be announced at a later time."
