Achievements:  Has played third base in Major League Baseball and quarterback in the National Football League.  As quarterback for Evangel, Josh became the first high school player to pass for over 10,000 yards in a career.  Earned USA Today Offensive Player of the Year Honors and named National High School Player of the Year by multiple associations.  Four time All-State shortstop at Evangel.  USA Today All-American shortstop.  Silver medal winner with the US Junior Olympic National Team as starting shortstop.  Fifth overall pick in the 1994 MLB Draft by the Florida Marlins agreeing to a record signing bonus to play baseball instead of college football.  Spent five years in the Marlins organization earning the 1997 Defensive Player of the Year with the Portland Sea Dogs.  Part of the 1997 World Series Champion Florida Marlins and has a World Series ring.  Left baseball career to play college football at LSU in 1999.  In two years at LSU Josh passed for nearly 4,000 yards and 24 touchdowns.  Drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2001 NFL Draft.  Played three NFL seasons with the Cleveland Browns.  In 2012, at the age of 36, Josh won the MLB Network Reality show "The Next Knuckler" and earned a spring training try-out with Arizona Diamondbacks.
