Geek'd Con, Shreveport's comic con, unfortunately had to miss the 2020 show due to the COVID pandemic restrictions around the state. But the show is back on for 2021! The show's return will be August 13th-15th at the Shreveport Convention Center.
Before the pandemic, Geek'd Con had become one of the biggest pop culture events in the region. With guests like Michael Rooker, LeVar Burton, Elvira, Peter Mayhew, Chris Sarandon, and more.
Now for the return show, you can meet Jay, of Jay and Silent Bob fame, this summer at Geek'd Con in Shreveport! Snoochie Boochies!
Jason Mewes is most widely known as the never-silent half of the cult heroes Jay and Silent Bob. Jason first appeared in the 1994 classic Clerks, and continued to build a legacy through other Kevin Smith films like Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks II, and the recent smash hit Jay and Silent Bob Reboot.
He became an icon as the loud half of Jay and Silent Bob, but Jason has also worked in a ton of indie films and TV roles. For example, Jason has appeared in the films Pauly Shore is Dead, National Lampoon’s TV: The Movie, Gone Baby Gone, Bitten, Breath of Hate, Silent But Deadly, and Book of Fire. He has also worked on several television series, most notably Vigilante Diaries and Todd and the Book of Pure Evil.
Jason has also performed several voice-over roles such as Jay and Silent Bob’s Super Groovy Cartoon Movie, the animated series Clerks, and roles in the video game Scarface and Fallout 76.
