Shreveport Is Getting an Andy’s, Here Is Where It’s Going

We all wondered why the Shreveport favorite would be torn down. Tim's Southern Sno was on Youree Drive next to a payday loan spot. One random November day in 2023 we realized that both spots were turned down.

We Had Heard Rumors That Andy's Frozen Custard Was Adding a New Location in Shreveport.

No one really knew where this new Andy's would set up however now we have confirmation. ShreveportBossierJournal.com confirmed that Andy's Frozen Custard has broken ground on a new location. "Andy’s is adding a second area store. Construction is in the early stages at the corner of Youree Drive and Bellmead Street, just north of Youree Drive Middle School. Andy’s is expected to open in early May."

Johnathon Cavallo, Director of Operations for East Texas Boys Custard, LLC confirmed with the Journal that they would be building the new Andy's Frozen Custard "on Youree Drive is off the main strip". The owners of the new Shreveport spot are also owners of the Bossier location and they have a few other locations in East Texas as well.
