Shreveport Police Intensify Efforts Against Illegal Squatting with New Ordinance 

The Shreveport Police Department is actively enforcing the city's new ordinance, which prohibits occupying structures deemed unfit for human habitation. This concentrated effort aims to eliminate illegal squatting and enhance community safety. 

Recent Arrests Under the New Ordinance 

In the past few weeks, with the new ordinance, police have been able to be more pro-active in enforcing squatter laws.  The Shreveport police have made multiple arrests under this new ordinance.
