Shreveport Man Arrested as Felon in Possession of Firearm
SHREVEPORT, LA- Cooperative effort leads to arrest of Felon with firearm
In a joint effort between the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Abatement Team, Shreveport Police Warrant Unit, Shreveport City Marshals Office, and the United States Marshals, a wanted suspect was apprehended on February 20th at approximately 4 p.m. in the 2700 block of Stanberry Drive.
Law enforcement officers converged on the residence and successfully took Tramarcia George, 25 years of age, into custody. During the arrest, George was found to be in possession of narcotics and a firearm. Subsequent investigation revealed that George was a convicted felon, leading to charges of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
