House Fire Kills Two in Shreveport

A house fire in the MLK community Sunday night has killed a man and a child. Shreveport firefighters were called to the 2600 block of David Raines around 9:45.

Neighbors told firefighters two people were inside the home, but their attempt to rescue the victims were unsuccessful. An adult male and child were found dead in a hallway. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
