Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, launched way back in 2015. Minus the 2020 pandemic cancelation, the event has run non-stop since it's launch. With tens-of-thousands of fans in attendance each weekend the event is held, it has become one of Louisiana's largest annual pop culture events.

Over the last 7 shows, Geek'd Con has brought dozens of fantastic celebrities to Shreveport for meet and greet opportunities with fans. Every year the event give fans the chance to make memories by meeting their heroes for autographs, pictures, and discussions. Whether those discussions are one-on-one talks, or Q&A sessions in the panel room, Geek'd Con gives fans a chance to personally interact with some of their favorite from the big screen, comic books, and cartoons.

Since 2015, the lineup of guests has increased annually, whether that's in total size, or in total "weight". By "weight", we don't mean pounds, but magnitude. The first year, the late Peter Mayhew headlined the show. Known for his role as Chewbacca in the Star Wars universe, he was a giant guest, in more ways than one. Since then, the "headliner" spot has been filled by names like Cassandra Peterson (Elvira), Lou Ferrigno (The Hulk), Mick Foley, LeVar Burton, Michael Rooker, Alice Cooper, Matthew Lillard, and Skeet Ulrich.

But beyond the "headliner" spots, the rest of the talent lineup has grown as well. Where guests who may have once been considered a "headliner" for the event are now included with larger guests on the lineup.

With 2022 now in the books, lets take a look back at the guests who have joined Geek'd Con in Shreveport...

History Of Geek'd Con Guests

Geek'd Con is Shreveport's biggest comic and pop culture event. Launching in 2015, the event quickly became one of the premiere comic con style events in the entire state of Louisiana.

A big part of that growth has been the celebrity guest lineups. Since the first show in 2015, the quality of guests attending Geek'd Con rivals any pop culture event of this size. From classic Star Wars stars to guests from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Geek'd Con has welcomed the biggest names from multiple generations. Here's a look at the history of guests at Geek'd Con.
