Highly Touted Carthage Bulldogs Pitcher JayDon Day Signs With The Pilots

Rocke Musgraves and pitching coach Brent Lavallee are excited this morning after inking Carthage Bulldogs pitcher JayDon Day.

JayDon Day, who's still a senior at Carthage High School will not have to move to far away from home when he suits up for the Pilots next season.

Since last season, Day has compiled a record of 19-7 on the mound.

This season, he is 7-2 with a 1.46 ERA, he has struck out 59 batters and has only surrendered seven walks in 57.2 innings.

Besides leading the Bulldogs in all pitching categories, he is also able to swing the bat.

This season, Day has hit three home runs and 23 RBI's.
