Last week on my Fantasy Football Do's and Don'ts I was spot on.  Brag, brag!!  So, let's get to it.

DO start starting RG3!  He merits a weekly start after his week 2 perfromance.  The only QBs I wouldn't start him over are Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees and Eli Manning.  I wouldn't tell you to put him in over Tom Brady on a weekly basis... but this week, you should think about it.

DON'T keep hoping Chris Johnson is just gonna turn it around in an instant.  He plays on a BAAAD offense and he looks tentative when he's running.  I might try to get CJ2K (or should it be CJnoK?) on my roster and hope that he has returned to stud form in the latter weeks of the season.  Last year he was terrible until the fantasy playoffs rolled around.  But really, I don't want to deal with him at all.

DO start Michael Bush!  We've seen this before haven't we!  A stud running back gets hurt and Michael Bush comes from the second string, puts on a super-man cape, and becomes one of the top fantasy backs in football.  This week, Matt Forte is out and Bush is in... against the Rams!  Play him no matter what!

DON'T start the Bronco defense.  I have the Broncos in a 16 team league and I love their defense moving forward.  But this week, they play Houston... who runs the ball and doesn't throw much.  That's not going to provide many opportunities for sacks and picks for the Bronco DEF.  I hope I'm wrong on this cuz I'm married to them in a league.  Best bet, is to sit 'em... but get them off the waiver wire moving forward.  They got some studs on the defensive side of the ball.

DO sit Adrian Peterson!  Look, I'm 0 for 2 on Peterson so far.  I said sit him week 1 and he scored two touchdowns.  I said you should never doubt him again in week 2 and he didn't come close to 100 yards.  So, maybe you should do the opposite of what I say on Peterson.  I'm thinking he's still not 100% (he said as much himself) and that he's playing the 49ers this week!  Maybe I was right in the beginning when I said he wasn't going to be himself for the first month!

DON'T keep Alex Smith on your bench, and for Pete sakes... get him off the waiver wire!  In the past I wouldn't touch the former number 1 pick with a 10 foot pole!  But things have changed in San Fran.  He looks confident, the 9ers have a unique well-executed offense.  He can throw the ball to Vernon Davis and Randy Moss... both beasts!  He may never put up the monster games that Brees and Rodgers will this season... but he may end the year as the most consistent QB in fantasy football.  Consistency is the key.  Right now, he's a top 10 guy in most leagues and if he continues to play as well as he is, he'll stay that way.  That makes him a fantasy starter!

BOLD PREDICTIONS

  • Cam Newton will throw 3 picks against the Giants!  Wait, that already happened.
  • Brandon Pettigrew will have 80 plus yards and a TD.  Great week to start Pettigrew, he's going up against the worst TE defending team in the NFL.
  • Andre Brown will rush for 100 yards and score 2 TDs filling in for Ahmad Bradshaw!  Wait, that already happened.
  • Lance Moore (WR-NO) will score and get 100 yards.  He was my sleeper WR for this season, great game week 1 in Nola, poor game week 2 in Carolina!  This week he's back in the DOME!  Here's a tip on Moore, start him at home particularly in weeks you think the Saints will be coming from behind!
  • Ramses Barden will catch more passes and have more yards this week than he did all of last season!  Wait that already happened.
  • Wes Welker will have less than 70 yards against the Ravens.  This is sad, Welker was a PPR demon last year.  This year I'm scared to start him.  What is going on Belichick??!?  This game will tell us alot about were WW stands with the Pats.  I think they're icing him and it will happen all year long.  But Aaron Hernandez is gone, and last week Welker was sort of the emergency fill-in for those targets.  We'll see what happens this week, but moving forward... the Pats have already signed Deion Branch and Kellen Winslow to replace Hernandez's targets.

SLEEPERS WEEK 2

  • Kenny Britt... I mean the guy is a stud when he's healthy and he's getting healthy.
  • Greg Little...  I like Greg Little even without a good QB in Cleveland, and I like him even more now that Trent Richardson is getting on track.  Once defenses key on Richardson, Little is going to wow some folks.
  • Randy Moss... He's back in Minnesota and I'm sure he wants to show them he's still got it.
  • Matt Cassel... I don't like him against the Saints as much as some others do, but the Saints have given up huge fantasy points to the first two QBs they've faced.  They were both running QB's in Cam Newton and Robert Griffin III... and oh wait, I just remembered... Matt Cassel will run at the drop of a hat.  I hate to say this, but Cassel could have a big week.

And remember the two most important rules in fantasy football... HAVE FUN... and YELLING AT THE TV DOESN'T HELP YOUR TEAM!!
