If you're like me, you're wondering, "Who in the heck is Stony Brook?!"

Stony Brook is a university out of Stony Brook, New York, in the boonies of Long Island 50 miles east of Manhattan. All of their athletic programs share a name: the "Seawolves."

The teams played in front of a total of 4,000 fans this year at home, Multiply that times three and you'd get the amount of total fans at Alex Box on Friday morning!

All joking aside, the Seawolves battled a long way to get here.

They embarrassed the University of Miami Hurricanes, the host team of the regional, 10-2, then went on a three-game tear, murdering Missouri State and UCF (beat them twice) by scoring 10 or more runs  in each match-up.

After victory at the Coral Gables, Florida regional, the Seawolves reached 50 wins this season -- the first team in the nation to do so all season.

One other impressive stat: during the Coral Gables regional, the Seawolves scored in total 50 runs with 49 hits. This team won't be so easy to take down.

Be sure to tune in and catch the action tomorrow, first pitch at 10:45 a.m., and the pregame show with Jim Hawthorne tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. right here on your home for LSU, AM 1130 The Tiger!
