All of the criticism leveled against Dallas forward Dirk Nowitzki for being soft vanished.  The Mavs emerged as the superior team, able to execute  offensively and defensively better than Miami, especially in the fourth quarters.

Dallas avenged its 2006 Finals loss to the Heat, overcoming not only disappointment from five season ago, but also subsequent failures, such as losing to the eighth-seeded Golden State Warriors in the first round of the 2007 playoffs.

Dirk Nowitzki, named MVP, came alive in the fourth quarter as he has done all playoffs, with 10 points in the final 7:22, crushing Miami's chances with each jumper and driving layup.

Congratulations to all the Dallas Mavericks fan in the KWKH listening audience!
