Century Link Center to Host State Basketball Semi-final Match-ups

The Century Link Center in Bossier City will host some of the best high school basketball in the nation this weekend.

The Louisiana High School Girls and Boys Basketball State Playoffs will bring semi-final match ups to the Century Link Center on Friday and Saturday.

The Bossier boys and Southwood girls highlight the games.  Each team is seeded number one in the state, and the Southwood girls are nationally ranked.

There will be five games each night, ranging from Class C ball all the way up to 5A.

Here are line-ups for each night.

Friday

• 1 pm:  Boys Class C Semi-final, (2) Pelican vs. (3) New Living World
• 2:45 pm:  Girls Class C Semi-final, (2) Dubach vs. (3) Plainview
• 4:30 pm:  Girls Class C Semi-final, (1) Pelican vs. (4) Saline
• 6:15 pm:  Girls Class 5A Semi-final, (2) Natchitoches Central vs. (6) Sulphur
• 8:00 pm:  Girls Class 5A Semi-final, (1) Southwood vs. (5) Denham Springs

Saturday

• 1 pm:  Boys Class C Semi-final, (1) Atlanta vs. (4) Sicily Island
• 2:45pm:  Boys Class B Semi-final, (3) Simsboro vs. (7) Anacoco
• 4:30pm:  Boys Class 3A Semi-final, (3) Farmerville vs. (23) Parkview Baptist
• 6:15pm:  Boys Class 3A Semi-final, (1) Bossier vs. (4) Carroll
• 8:00 pm:  Boys Class 5A Semi-final, (1) Ouachita Parish vs. (4) East Ascension
