A Red River Casino employee and two other people have been arrested for burglarizing the business in early January.

Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington says 19-year-old Candice Lott of Shreveport is charged with simple burglary of the casino, located in the 7900 block of Barksdale Boulevard.

Also arrested were 19-year-olds Christopher Blake and Jacqueline Blake, both of Shreveport. They're charged with principle to simple burglary.

During their investigation, detectives found the trio went to the casino around 1:30 a.m. on January 8, an hour after the business closed. Lott went into the casino and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

Authorities interviewed a number of people when their investigation began nearly two months ago and determined the burglary was an inside job. Lott continued to work at the casino until recently.

Shreveport police officers assisted in locating the Blakes, and Bossier sheriff's detectives arrested Lott earlier today. All three were booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility, where they're being held on $50,000 bond each.
